What BioFlow 2500 is designed to do
BioFlow 2500 is the hands-off option in the lineup. Instead of measuring liquid or powder repeatedly, microbial packets sit inside a weighted submersible dispenser and release treatment over approximately 30 days.
How the dispenser works
Place the three microbial packets inside the weighted dispenser, close it, and position it toward the middle of the pond. Secure the retrieval line at shore. Replace all three packets every 30 days.
Best practices
Do not under-size the treatment for pond volume. Heavy nutrient loading, excessive fish waste, poor aeration or strong sunlight can make a pond more difficult to manage. Use adequate aeration and monitor pond conditions rather than relying on a dispenser alone.
What to expect from biological treatment
Biological pond products support natural decomposition and nutrient cycling. They are not contact algaecides and should not be presented as an instant cure for every algae or water-quality problem. Pond temperature, dissolved oxygen, organic loading, pH and continuing nutrient inputs all affect results.
Aeration matters
For most pond microbial programs, adequate oxygen and circulation improve the environment in which aerobic decomposition occurs. If a pond has heavy organic loading or low dissolved oxygen, address those underlying conditions along with the biological treatment.
