What PondBiotix SP is designed to do
Small ponds can change quickly because their water volume is limited and nutrient inputs can have an outsized effect. PondBiotix SP provides an easy-to-dose liquid microbial treatment for these smaller systems.

For small ponds using UV clarification, temporarily disabling UV after microbial application can help the introduced organisms establish rather than being immediately exposed to sterilization.
What to expect from biological treatment
Biological pond products support natural decomposition and nutrient cycling. They are not contact algaecides and should not be presented as an instant cure for every algae or water-quality problem. Pond temperature, dissolved oxygen, organic loading, pH and continuing nutrient inputs all affect results.
Aeration matters
For most pond microbial programs, adequate oxygen and circulation improve the environment in which aerobic decomposition occurs. If a pond has heavy organic loading or low dissolved oxygen, address those underlying conditions along with the biological treatment.
